TSA uses year-old survey to defend brand new procedures

The TSA website, as of November 15, 2010, at 12:18 p.m. EST, has a propaganda link that proclaims:  "Poll:  Most OK with TSA full-body scanners (USAToday.com)."


The article that the TSA links to, however, was posted on the website of USAToday.com on January 11, 2010.

A more recent poll of the public's opinion regarding the TSA has been conducted by Reuters in November 2010:  96 percent of the respondents said that they find the TSA procedures to be "intrusive" and will avoid flying in the future because of it.
